The verdict is ridiculous. I love both marques. But look at the acceleration times and the roll on times. Clearly the Porsche is considerably faster. A 2 second margin at Hockenheim is big. A 3.1 from 0-200 kph is enormous. The rolling acceleration went clearly BMW's way. My bet is that the Porsche was a manual and left lugging.
