I just bought a gt350R and twin turbos coming..should get 800hp on 8 lbs. id like to see the battle then. Boosted car vs boosted car. Also keep in mind the price difference. Shelby $68k sticker. GTR $90k sticker.

GTR would probably still be quicker due to the GTRs hundreds of electrical assists and computers

A Whipple works well too, so I hear. I have a Cobra jet intake and twin 65mm throttle body which adds 45 HP and 20 lbs of torque

Simple, because they are both 2+2 GT performance cars. I’ve owned 3 GTRs since they came out and honestly, that car is getting long in the tooth. It has just so so looks and is due for an overhaul. Anyone looking for a good performance car that can seat 4 only has a handful of options.
