And the <2000 cc displacement probably puts it into favorable tax category - something that can't be said about it's Italian competitor Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.2 JTD Q4.

Not sure what's the appeal of having 4 wheel drive on efficient diesel sedan like this... Compromises the efficiency which otherwise would be very high with a car like this car.
Makes sense if you live in Scandinavia... :D

It might seem slow compared to most cars on here but growing up we had a Datsun with low compression and a 0-100 at best of 25 seconds I'd guess. It could do 125 km\hr flat out on a windless flat stretch of the 401 highway. Up big hills people in fast bicycles would be passing lmao. When Dad got a tuned port 3.8l Regal it seemed like a hemi! This is just a great cruiser. The Maserati Diesel is a great diesel.
