BMW M240i specs

I own this car with a manual transmission the way the driving pleasure Gods intended. In the proper hands it competes well with, and often destroys, all the usual suspects. The fact that it is understated and does not look like a boy racer wet dream is also a huge bonus.

Thats why you get the manual. Plus it really only has a similar 0-60 time, After that its all downhill for the 240, Plus i wouldnt say it keeps up, Power isnt cohesive when talking bout 0-60 times, But considering it also does 12, And we all know this is pushing way more then 335bhp, Either way its still impressive, But it doesnt keep up with an E60 M5.

And much better automatic gearbox. Much faster and with lower friction losses. SMG was total garbage - dark ages of "flappy paddle" gearboxes.

Yep it keeps up until 130 km/h because M240i is lighter, has better traction control, better launch control system, huge torque in low RPM level and propably has around 10 % more power than it is advertised :).

Interesting how it keeps up with the 500 hp V10 E60 M5 up until ~130 kph (see the graph).

Well it is only 9hp difference. The car could have more options or what not.

Good to finally see a page for this one. Slower than an m235i? Must have been a bad day. I'd like to read the mag it came from, if you could post a link. I'm thinking of getting one.
