Ferrari's New V12 Flagship GT Spied Testing, Will Debut May 2024!

https://www.autoevolution.com/news/ferrari-s-new-v12-flagship-gt-spied-testing-will-debut-may-2024-226837.html

"The Prancing Horse of Maranello and naturally aspirated V12 engines are inseparable partners, for the automaker founded by Enzo Ferrari made a name for itself with V12-powered sports cars and GTs.

While on the subject of V12 masterpieces, did you know that Ferrari stopped taking orders for the 812 in February 2022? This, in turn, means that Ferrari will unleash a replacement in 2024 for the 2025 model year. That successor doesn't have a name yet, although we do know that it's codenamed F167.

Carparazzo Acriore caught a couple of prototypes on camera, testing on the public roads of Maranello. The red-painted car appears to be a stretched Roma, whereas the blue-painted car hides different styling cues under the camo wrap. As the heir apparent of the 812, the F167 is certainly going to look different from the Roma. After all, bear in mind that the Roma is Ferrari's entry-level model as of December 2023.

According to Ferrari expert Marcel Massini, the newcomer will be revealed on May 2, 2024. The cited expert understands that Ferrari will take the veil off in Miami rather than Maranello. Ferrari Cavalcade USA participants are invited to the premiere, which is only natural because said participants were charged a whopping $58,000 to take part in the road rally.

Hearsay suggests a small bump in power and more revs, although it remains to be seen whether the naturally aspirated V12 can hit 10,000 revolutions per minute without grenading itself in 5,000 miles. Another high-revving engine rumored for 2024 is the V8 of the Huracan's replacement, a plug-in hybrid with over 800 horsepower on deck. Because it's a twin-turbo V8 developed for a road car, chances are that it won't spin to 10,000 revolutions per minute."

Continues in the link.

812 $uperfast £450,000 plus 1800KG? "Special" edition specified up? Those are Ferrari SF90 numbers? What would YOU go for? (If possible) a technology advanced and sophisticated four wheel drive torque vectored hybrid or the V12?

No contest. ;)

Anyway 1/4 mile McLaren took it the higher rolling races the Ferrari took it. And very surprisingly the braking test too! WTF?

So I guess Ferrari SPANKS McLaren in THIS comparison. But had it of been a McLaren 765LT, the destruction would have been biblical. ;)

No hating just devastating. Their BOTH good!

Ferrari 812 Superfast vs McLaren 600LT! Who's getting SPANKED? Can't say, not watched it! LOL!

But, Baby Mac will possibly spring a surprise! I mean, it's a McLaren right? ;)

Contrary to popular belief from the Aston fanboys and paid Top Gear journalists, the Ferrari 812 Superfast is not the DBS's competitor. The DBS isn't even scared of that car. The 812 is what the Victor rivals, but the 812 needed the Competizione variant to do just that, which repleaced the "series-production" Superfast and GTS models altogether!

When the DBS Superleggera was first released, it was to rival the GTC4Lusso that had the V12/AWD option. It was NEVER an 812 competitor, because it can barely hold a candle to likes of the Nissan GT-R NISMO, Chevy Camaro ZLE, and Shelby Mustang GT500.

Quattroroute 812 full testing to 300km/h.

These may or may not be below but some of those "scans" are not very good.

It's also proof I look for atleast 2 data sets but more 3 when comparing metrics.

Saw two different data sets. Transmissions losses on this are at 17.5% indicated. Oo

Also watched Chris Harris give his dynamic verdict. Did well and completely forgot she's got 4WS!

^^^ Above indicated 360km/h or 223.694MPH.

As a control I measured 100-200MPH off the speedometer. 161-322km/h 0.02 to 0.22 seconds equals 20 seconds.

That's extremely accurate as was the 300-400km/h "test" when benchmarking against Quattroroute verified test data for the latter. The former FL estimates.

NO words to describe this car. I looked at the Porsche GT2 RS and previously the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ and Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and Mclaren 720S.

Then I've looked at the Holy Trinity plus the Pagani Huyara.

The two that have for whatever reason stoodout are the Pagani and Ferrari.

Extremely surprised. Anyway video above! Oo

No aerodynamic forces ofcourse below. But STILL 236.742MPH STATIC? I mean car obviously not moving the wheels are ofcourse. (Accordingly to Pog). That's actually nearing it's potential MATHEMATICAL peak! It's putting down good power and torque too!

It's an incredible car. Definitely have one over a DBS Superleggera. No questions asked.

Got to hand to the French! Hahaha!
