Double standards are hilarious.
Corvette runs factory-backed VIR with Jim Mero behind the wheel = Cheap publicity stunt that can't me compared to other cars since they didn't have pros driving them.
Dodge sets factory records at 14 tracks using pro drivers = A great day for 'Merica! Not even the P1 and 918 can stop the almighty ACR!
Corvette runs a 7/10ths of a second faster than the Nismo GT-R at Willow Springs = Not even a full second? Please. So much for the "Most track-capable Corvette ever".
ACR runs 1/10th of a second faster than the Corvette = Hey, whether it's ten seconds or a tenth of a second, faster is faster and winning is winning. 'MERICA!!!
Corvette has plastic front winglets that can be removed from the front splitter = Pathetic cost-cutting move.
ACR's entire front splitter is plastic and can be removed = Such innovation!
That's not a jab at anyone here, this is a shot at the people over on the Corvette Forum. The ridiculousness over there is the reason I stick to lurking and have never posted anything there.

Well...They should be, Its a damned Viper! That thing will chew you up, Spit you out, And do it all over again just for the fun of it.
You know, I think Vipers should be cars people have to use to take there drivers test, If anything it will make the person respect the cars and will show them how to drive even more, Maybe get into a few accidents, But hey they wont in the future......maybe..
