Such a feisty spirit here on FL. I thought Gerard Butler liked Porsche. Of course in the old days you could work on your own Porsche. After all isn't that what wrenches are for d###@$$!?

this lap time is faker than global warming + bill cosby's sexual assault allegations

omg! another 911 with a douche driver chosen by porsh-uh to set a new lap time beating their own 600+ carrera gt and gt2 rs lololol

only a moron would believe a 500hp car can be faster than everything else out there with over 600hp, oh and the bespoke tires will require a new page, because pilot sport cup 2 is all the same on all cars according to poghsh-uh.

you agree hans ? ja! ja! ja! ja! na sicher!!!

For a six cylinder it's the best value as affordable six cylinder American performance cars aren't close. performance wise and aren't as pure sports cars. With the Viper sadly gone you need to buy a Vette to get a better value. The GTR is more a GT and its engine doesn't sound as good as this NA beauty.

Porsche is a pretty straight shooter when it comes to laptimes. Ferrari is too when they allow their cars to be tested.

It is a bargain, But it's 13k more then the last, 911s are getting expensive, Still a great deal considering

For a car at this price, it's nearly the bargain of the century for a sportscar.

I'm sure Cosimo is too upset about this that he still can't afford one

cam angle is skeptical and of course, this is the next gt3 which means, it has to be faster or chief engineer will be replaced.

seriously, this is an old game porker has pulling off since nissan bitch slapped them with the gtr.

I think it depends on how much it actually weighs, Like im sure an S65 AMG center console weighs ALOT more then a GT3 console, So i believe it depends on the car, I remember when the 2010 ACR had that HardCore Package option that did the same thing and that shaved 51Lbs of its weight with the same thing, But either way, The real question is, Just how much weight is actually needed to actually show results in performance? And where was that weight at? Cause positioning will have an effect, But how much is the bigger question? Specially if its just actual weight.

But also i find it rather strange that i looked thru all those country's own Porsche site, And there all very well know sites....Cept Latvia lol(FL) Yet Canad was the only one with that option...And i think thta Canadian road regulations are very similar to American regulations, Which are just ridiculous to begin with, Hell they dont even have that option on there UK website here, And we dont give a damn about road safety as you could drive a cardboard box with wheels and get it registered...

..But even ill admit, 12s off from a facelift/ Does seem a "Bit" fast.. But at the same time its a Ring time, And its not like thats surprising..

Well that clears things up. Honestly, I would never have doubted this car could do this time anyways. But how much laptimes does removing a consol do really...

I just checked with Porsche UK, USA, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, China, Brazil, Russia, Latvia, Australia, Korea, And the only one that ive had success with is Porsche Canada, They, As far as the countrys i have checked with, Are the only ones so far that offer the audio and communication systems delete, Hell even Germany doesnt offer it, Pretty much every where else just offers a black or color matching rollcage and a harness for both seats. This is what it says.

Deletion of audio and communication system, Under Audio options.

Storage compartment in the centre console in place of the audio and communication system (PCM, Connect Plus, Sound Package Plus). Support for the Porsche Track Precision app, available as standard, retained so that, even with this option, your driving stats can still be displayed in detail, logged and analysed on your smartphone. Note: USB interface in glove compartment also deleted. Retrofit of audio and communication systems not possible

So as far as the center console missing, It has been solved, And is completely legitimate. But i sill find it interesting that the in cabin look was so damned small.......And i still cant see the passenger seat..

..From what i can tell, The center console has been removed, And the front seat has been completely replaced, Cant even see the passenger seat, I say delete it. Cages are fine, Seats are arguably questionable, But removing the center console(Screen) is not necessary, Delete the time as it is not legitimate.

For the longest time, Porsche just claimed a certain Nurburgring time for their 911s. Finally they actually went to do it. Very impressive for a car of that price bracket and without the help of turbo chargers.
