These Fiorano lap time is pure marketing (in my opinion). Honestly it would be laughable if Pista were slower than TDF on tracks...

Secondly my bet is Pista will struggle to do 0-200 km/h in less than 8,5s and 1/4 mile in less than 10,5s. From the other side it should be decent on tracks. We will see.

just confirmed the pista is quicker to 200kmh - mclaren 720s 7.8 sec & ferrari pista 7.6 sec. and the base gtb is already really fast through the 18m and 36m slalom, so this really will be one hell of a contender against the 720s but not the senna!

I just find it funny that Ferrari think its worth making up numbers for their lap times still. The 488 Pista which is supposed to be track focused, lightened and to compete with the 720S, is ONLY just as fast as the base 812? Who do you think you are kidding. If Ferrari believe their customers don't care about lap times, then just don't give any.

that's a bit disappointing, in a sense. Of course it is lighting-fast, but
1.5 secs is about the improvement you will get with the tyres alone.
one can argue that maybe fiorano is not the best track to expose 488 pista's aero wizardry, but most of the tracks these cars are nowadays tested are even slower. This time suggests ferrari with this model just repeated what they did with speciale, scuderia, etc... there is no breakthrough in track performance compared to the base model, although it contains lots of racy-spec'd components.
