But you cant indicate price is for performance, You can easily put in 15k on a RS Camaro to match the price of an SS and blow it out of the water in every way. I think one part is down to profit, Along with better materials, Not outright speed.

Yeah, which is fairly surprising. Some were complaining that starting price($37k) for the 6th-gen Camaro SS is too high. Well considering that a ShelbyGT350($10k+ more) isn't any faster is a good indication as to why the Chevy costs so much... Also, here's a comparison of all the numbers so far;Camaro SS(gen-6) -- Mustang GT3500-60mph: 4.0seconds -- 4.1seconds1/4th mile: 12.4seconds @ 114.6mph -- 12.4seconds @ 117.8mph60-0mph stop: 104ft -- 102ftMT figure-8: 24.1seconds -- 24.2seconds
