@ Bijan: My Galaxie is 500 XL series and somewhat like this: http://www.fastestlaps.com/models/ford-galaxie-500-xl-cobra
I ever run about 150 mph with this in straight line. Did you know? I bought this not in USA. I bought it in Indonesia. A country in south east Asia. I bought it very cheap only about 10.000 yen. My father said Chevy, Chrysler and Ford is ever build a factory in there and built right hand model but only for full size model not muscle car. Now i put 427 FE in this car and already finish painted in blue about a month ago.

@ Super8 : No , I have not in this time , but many years ago I owned a 1972 GTO 400 with 3 speed manual and also owned several rare italian sports cars and 2 rare Ponies , one A 1970 Trans Am RA III with 4 speed and 3.55 in blue , I was 17 when buying this , and some years later buying a 1973 SD 455 Trans Am , that was faster than my De tomaso Pantera GTS in Europian version of course .
Congratulations to you and your father , your father's car in my opinion is one of the best ever Muscle cars in any time , any where , and also your car is Fantastic , too .A 7 liter Galaxy , magnificent .

@ Bijan: I'm not read it but I find it. The advantage having father who works as engineering in GM is something like this especially when he had more friend who works in other manufacture such as Ford and Chrysler group. Anyway, did you have an old muscle car? I had 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Cobra and my father had 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS LS6 with 3.31 final which rare to see.

@ Bijan: That's because the power is gross. But actually it has bigger net power than standard 429 Boss because both Talladega and Cyclone Spoiler II had 6 barrell carburetor configuration and high performance intake. It must be comparable to 440 Six Pack from Dodge. For max speed I think it still can reach reach 168 mph because it has better aerodynamic than standard Cyclone and proven reduce a lot of Cd from standard Cyclone. Ford version run about 170 mph since it has 3.25 final 4 speed but very slow acceleration.
